I purchased these to use with my Sony VPL HW-30 projector. The ghosting issues using the Sony glasses was pretty bad. Sitting 10′ from a 106″ screen you see all the flaws in the picture. Right out of the box these glasses reduced ghosting by 90%. They are also highly customizable so I was able to reduce it even further. They really are amazing! Compared to the Sony glasses they are much lighter with less of a greenish tint and have a greater filed of view. What is also nice is they use radio frequencies rather the infrared so you never lose synch. Honestly they really are great glasses.

I’ve tried just about every pair of 3D Glasses and these are my favorite. Large field of view, no tint or color issues, great fit and comfortability, universal, great job Monster. I own a mitsubishi 82738

Does not work with LG PZ550 TV’s, February 6, 2012

Well, I had high hopes for these and the super bowl last night.. but, alas I was let down by manufacturers overstating their device’s compatibility.

My LG PZ550 Plasma TV natively uses an RF signal to sync their 3D glasses.. These glasses are made to intercept the IR signal used from various other TVs, and then uses its own RF transmitter to synch the glasses.. however there is no solution for TVs (Like the PZ550 series) that already use RF to sync their 3D eyewear.

They look cool, felt comfortable, but were utterly useless as the lens shutters freaked out every time I turned them on..

    Dang shame.. :(
